A new method of hair removal
This new method of hair removal is designed for light or gray hairs, or hairs located in problematic areas, such as those growing from moles.
HOW DOES IT WORK
During electrolysis treatment, a very fine needle is inserted into each hair follicle through which a gentle electric current passes. Electrocoagulation causes the destruction of the hair follicle, which is then painlessly removed. Although hair color does not play a role in this method of hair removal, it is very suitable as a complement to the unparalleled Alexandrite laser hair removal.
Given that each hair must be treated individually, in cases of significant hairiness or larger areas, repeated treatments are necessary.
BEFORE TREATMENT
Before treatment, it is necessary to adhere to a few principles:
- Hairs must not be freshly shaved or plucked.
- They should have a length of approximately 3mm - 5mm.
- Do not sunbathe for 4 weeks before the procedure.
AFTER TREATMENT
- The treated area may be red and swollen
- Small scabs may appear on the skin, which need to be allowed to heal
- After the procedure, it is not advisable to sunbathe for at least 4 weeks and until the scabs are healed
WHO IS HAIR REMOVAL SUITABLE FOR
Electrolysis hair removal is suitable for both men and women who are bothered by gray or very light hairs. It is recommended to treat smaller areas as a complement to laser hair removal.
WHO IS TREATMENT NOT SUITABLE FOR
We do not treat:
- Pregnant and breastfeeding clients
- Clients with a pacemaker and heart rhythm disorders
- Clients with skin conditions at the site of hair removal or damaged skin
The procedure is performed exclusively by a trained healthcare professional.
